Electron is kinda hated. Dart has a lot of things going for it that JS does not.

Went to join a Google Meet. Before I even joined, I could hear someone typing away. Clickety-clack! Then, I switched accounts, and asked to join, still hearing the typing. Then I was let in. I could see that the other person was typing, and then they stopped to talk to me – but the typing audio continued. It continues even now!
